About ME

I'm Lissa (she/they). I'm the founder of 64 Village Media. I've worked in digital marketing, communications, video and editorial content for over 10 years.After film school, I was looking for ways to combine my skills as a producer — management, organization, logistics, client relations — with my passions as a creative, cultural worker and storyteller. Then, I discovered the magical world of gaming content creators and their communities.I've worked at various media organizations, nonprofits, and boutique advertising agencies, alongside editing and producing for advocacy organizations, acclaimed documentary directors and major brands. For the last three years, I've been working with content creators as a video editor and researcher, and creating content as a hobby myself.Not only have I learned firsthand from creators what goes on behind the scenes when working with brands and finding the right fit for your own brand, but I also know the inner workings of the industry side.

The name "64 Village" is an homage to my roots — it's the name of one of the village in Berbice, Guyana where my family is from.
